Leading up to the second lawsuit between Apple and Samsung, both tech giants are adding to their respective lists of patent-infringing products from the other side.
On Friday, Apple motioned to add six recently released or upgraded Samsung products to be considered in court. The Samsung devices include the Galaxy S III running Android Jelly Bean, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Rugby Pro and Galaxy S III mini, according to a FOSS Patents report via Engadget.

Samsung amended its infringement contentions this week to include the latest Apple products that recently hit store shelves: the fifth-generation iPod touch, the fourth-generation iPad and the iPad Mini. The Korean company states that the products were not available when it filed its court papers on Oct. 1. Samsung believes the devices, in addition to the iPhone 5, infringe upon several of its wireless patented technologies.
The jury trial for Apple vs. Samsung will take place on March 31, 2014 at 9 a.m. in the Northern District of California. The patent trial will scrutinize the smartphones and tablets released after the initial lawsuit that was settled in August in Apple’s favor.
